Because Corporate Social Responsibility May Be The Key to Reaching That Seventh Generation
Legislation from the European Commission is expected to be drafted next year that would require automakers to cut CO2 emissions by 18% in new cars by 2012. Most of the reduction would come from better motor technology - the remainder would come from better tires and a higher rate of use of alternative fuels.

I started this blog just as a way to get some information about various CSR issues to people. I won't often comment too much - I'd rather let the articles speak for themselves. Sometimes, however, I can't help myself. I earned an MBA in May 2007. I will begin a job as a Business Analyst with Chevron in July. At that company and position, I hope to learn a great deal about the traditional oil and gas industry. I also hope to be able to work on renewable energy initiatives at Chevron at some point in the future.
