What Brown Can Do For You? Go Green!

Thank you to SustainableBusiness.com for pointing me to this article. UPS, along with the U.S. EPA, has developed the most fuel-efficient, cost-effective delivery vehicle. The UPS trucks use, "EPA-patented hydraulic hybrid technology that increases fuel efficiency by 60-70% in urban driving while lowering greenhouse gas emissions by 40%."

Tests have shown that these new trucks can reduce fuel usage by up to 1000 gallons a year per vehicle.

UPS and the EPA are also speaking with Daimler Chrysler to obtain knowledge about using fuel cell technology for operating a commercial delivery fleet.
