Some Examples of CSR from FedEx

Over the past few years, FedEx has taken a number of steps to decrease their ecological footprint. I doubt most people know about these initiatives, so I feel they are worth learning about. FedEx has:

• Increased the percentage of post-consumer recycled content in the paper they use in many of their FedEx Kinko's stores;

• Introduced California's largest corporate power system to power most of their hub at Oakland International Airport; and

• Collaborated with Environmental Defense and Eaton Corporation to introduce a hybrid fleet of trucks for FedEx Express.

There are many other examples like this out there. I'll try to post as many as possible. Please let me know if you have other good examples.
